Cross Roads Baptist Church

We believe that salvation comes by confession of sin and faith in Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God, to believe in the heart that Jesus died and rose from the dead, and to proclaim with the mouth that He is Lord. We believe the Old and New Testaments to be the infallible Word of God; inerrant as originally given, verbally inspired by God, the complete and sufficient revelation of His will for salvation and conduct. We believe in the Great Commission; to proclaim the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to the uttermost parts of the earth. Amen.

Talk It Over
Moses And The Exodus
Hey parents! Use these questions as a guide to talk over this week’s Bible story called Moses and the Exodus with your child after they’ve watched this week’s Church at Home early childhood video. Remember the Big Idea:When things are going wrong, I can talk to God.
What was your favorite part of the video we just watched?
Who said “No” to Moses?
Pharaoh.
How many plagues did God send?
Ten.
What is it called when you talk to God?
Prayer!
What can you talk to God about?
Anything! You can tell him how you feel, you can ask him for help, you can thank him, you can tell him about your day – you can talk to him just like you talk to a friend.
Take some time to pray with your child. You might pray something like this:Dear God, thank you for loving me. Thank you for always listening to me when I talk to you. Please help me remember that I can pray to you all the time – when things are going right or wrong. I love you! Amen.
