With more than forty years of pastoral ministry, Pastor Roger and his wife Benita have lead our congregation since 2005. He has an extensive background in chaplaincy, serving in the past as a law enforcement chaplain with the Fresno Police Department in California; disaster relief chaplain after Katrina and the Tuscaloosa tornado, and as a clinical chaplain with Druid City Hospital in Tuscaloosa, as well as UAB Hospital, Princeton Baptist Hospital in Birmingham, and Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster. They have a daughter, a son, and four granddaughters.
